Make the most of being so close to Nicaragua and enjoy a full-day experience in this striking neighboring country.
We will visit Granada, one of the most beautiful and historic cities in Nicaragua. This colonial city is full of charm, history, colorful streets, museums and cultural landmarks.
We will also visit Masaya, known as a center of national folklore thanks to its traditions, artisan culture and local markets. Here you can enjoy souvenir shopping and discover handmade products such as hammocks, shoes, clothes, musical instruments and traditional crafts.
Near Masaya, we will visit Masaya Volcano National Park, one of the most impressive attractions in the region, with views of the active Santiago Crater. If preferred, we can visit Masaya Lagoon and enjoy its beautiful views or take a boat ride around the lagoon and its small islands.
This is a cultural and activity-filled day. We leave Costa Rica at 5:45 am and return around 8:00 pm.
